Amsterdam Standard provides seamless team augmentation for product companies. With us on your side you can focus on your product and business. We take care of the recruitment, hiring, training and management of the development team.

Quality above profitability

Before we start our cooperation we do a deep analysis of the product, code, roadmap, team, development process and more. Based upon that we suggest profiles that exactly match the DNA or our clients. The whole onboarding process usually takes 8 - 12 weeks. Only this way we have built well balanced teams that stayed with clients for more than 5 years.

You might be interested in how we get our partnership going? This is how the different steps of our process look like:

First we get to know each other via an online call or during a coffee in our office in Amsterdam, or on your location. If we feel that there is a good match we proceed to the Discovery Call.

Introduction talks

The Discovery Call is about your product, technology stack, team and ambitious plans. We use this session as a technical verification to see if we will be able to deliver you a successful team. Shortly after this call we share our findings and we will inform you if we can continue together.

Discovery call (1-2 hours)

Once we continue we sign our Master Services Agreement (still non-binding) and we start our internal & external candidate search. Together we define the acceptance process & criteria. Usually this consists of one interview with the client and two with our HR-staff. Code-challenges are optional. During the Sourcing process we also negotiate the exact rates.

The sourcing process

Once the candidates are accepted and the Statement of Work is signed; we plan the Kick-off meeting. This is organized by the Project and Delivery Managers. The onboarding process will be discussed in detail with you, and during the first weeks we keep a close eye on the cooperation to make this as successful as possible.


Kick-Off meeting

Shortly after the kick-off we plan a first get together for you & your new team. Deep bonding is crucial for good cooperation. Our teams visit their new client in the Netherlands within the first 4 weeks after they start. We keep seeing each other 4 times per year (at least), and you are very welcome in Poland where you can work from one of our 4 offices! 

Get together(s)

During the ongoing daily development you will be in direct contact with your team and your Project Manager. The work is organized in a Scrum or Kanban process; adapted to your existing workflow. Wherever we can, we will assist you to optimize your tooling, processes and quality.

Development

Your happiness, but of course also the happiness of our developers is key for you. We keep talking and evaluating with everyone to see where things can be improved to keep the job interesting, productive and enjoyable.
