Are you interested in joining our team? To our office in Kraków, we are looking for a Lead Project Manager. 

We are Amsterdam Standard, the software house with a team of skilled, experienced, and passionate developers. We manage and develop mobile and web projects. Hard-working, fun making, constantly striving to improve ourselves and get results.

Your responsibilities

  • creating standards for project management in the company and improving existing ones
  • managing a team of Project Managers (PMO)
  • providing support for the team in solving problems, sharing knowledge
  • taking care of the flow of information in PMO team, leading communication with the board
  • establishing a joint operating model with the Dutch PMO
  • managing a few selected projects
  • reporting the results of the work of the PMO team
  • contact with the customer

Our expectations

  • practical knowledge and experience in managing a Team of Project Managers
  • several years of experience in running and managing IT projects
  • very good knowledge of project management systems and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Jira)
  • knowledge supported by certificates, such as: Project Management Professional, ITIL, Professional Scrum Master
  • excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • initiative and commitment, willingness to act and implement own and team’s ideas
  • very good command of English

  • our codebase is hosted on BitBucket/GitHub, we use Git Flow + code review
  • we manage our projects using Jira
  • whenever there is a possibility and it makes sense, we work in Scrum
  • 8/10 of the services are hosted on Amazon, Azure
  • we track live environment issues using Sentry
  • we use Prometheus/ELK/Grafana/datadog for more advanced monitoring
  • we deploy new projects using k8s, ECS
  • for development and testing we use AWS/Azure or our company servers, on which the rancher cluster is configured, but also dedicated virtual machines are available
  • we use Slack for daily communication & Skype/hangouts/whereby.com for video calls
  • you can check out our know-how & other nice stuff in our company's wiki
  • we analyze the code we make using SonarQube
  • we use G Suite
  • we use LDAP management for accessing our internal tools
  • we devote part of the time (the window between projects) to the development of internal and open projects, e.g. yake.amsdard.io
  • sometimes (when you're waiting for your client's feedback ;-)) we develop our internal projects or skills with cutting-edge technologies
  • we love to implement the latest solutions to our projects
